Before the day
The Groundwork You Don’t Have to Worry About
By the time the crew arrives, the important work is already done. We’ve assessed the job — on site or from your photos — confirmed the material is bonded, and given you a fixed, itemised quote. Where the job is notifiable, we’ve lodged the Form 65 with SafeWork NSW (minimum five calendar days’ notice for Class B). You don’t deal with the regulator, the paperwork or the planning — that’s our job.
On the day
Step by Step, From Arrival to Hand-Back

Arrival & set-up
The crew arrives at the agreed time, walks the site with you, and sets up. Access is planned, surrounding areas are protected, and everyone knows the plan before anything is touched.

The exclusion zone
A controlled work area is isolated so the job is contained and the rest of your property stays usable. You’re kept clear of the zone while the crew works inside it.

Controlled removal
Bonded sheeting is removed carefully by hand wherever possible — never dry power-cut, which is what sends fibres airborne. Dust is suppressed and the material is kept intact as it comes down.

Double-wrapping & labelling
Every piece is double-wrapped in heavy plastic and labelled as asbestos waste on site, ready for lawful transport — no loose material, no open loads.

Load-out & clean-down
The wrapped waste is loaded for disposal and the work area is cleaned down. What’s left is a tidy site, not a mess for you to deal with.

Disposal & documentation
The waste goes to an EPA-licensed facility, and you receive disposal dockets — plus an independent clearance certificate where the job requires one.
After the day
What You’re Left With
A clean, cleared area — and a paper trail. You get your disposal dockets proving the waste went to a licensed facility, and, where the job requires it, an independent clearance certificate confirming the area is safe to reoccupy. That documentation is what satisfies councils, insurers and future buyers — so the job’s not just done, it’s provable.

The Questions Everyone Asks
How long does asbestos removal take?
Many residential jobs — a fence, a garage roof, a small strip-out — are completed in a single day on site. Larger roofs or full strip-outs can take longer. The removal itself is usually quicker than people expect; the timeline is mostly shaped by the Form 65 notice period (minimum five calendar days for Class B) beforehand. We give you a clear timeframe with your fixed quote.
Do I need to move out during asbestos removal?
For most bonded (Class B) jobs, no. We set up a controlled exclusion zone around the work area so the rest of the property stays usable, and we keep you clear of that zone while the crew works. For larger jobs we’ll talk you through any access arrangements up front so there are no surprises on the day.
Is it safe to have asbestos removed while I’m home?
Bonded asbestos is removed using controlled methods — an isolated work area, dust suppression, careful hand removal rather than dry power-cutting, and immediate double-wrapping. Those controls are exactly what keeps fibres contained. You stay out of the exclusion zone, the crew works to NSW WHS Regulations, and the area is cleaned and (where required) independently cleared before it’s handed back.
